Pan Fried Blackened Chicken Breast

Ingredients:

Chicken breasts
Olive oil
Blackened seasoning
1 square (tablespoon) of butter
Minced garlic

Directions:

  1. On an open pan, add olive oil to the pan and on low fire.
  2. Slice the chicken breast the long way so it’s not so thick.
  3. Add oil to the chicken along with the blackening seasoning spread evenly to both sides.
  4. Place chicken on the pan and let sit until brown on both sides.
  5. Check the chicken’s temperature. It should be at 165F.
  6. Now cut 1 square (tablespoon) of butter and some minced garlic into a pan. Stir well for 1 minute.
  7. Bring the chicken back to 165F.
  8. Done!
