Classic Yellow Cake

Ingredients:

1 box of Duncan Hines classic yellow cake mix.
1 cup of water
3 large eggs
1/2 cup of vegetable oil

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Spray the bottom and sides of the pan with baking spray.
  3. Blend the cake mix from the box with 1 cup of water, 3 large eggs, and 1/2 cup of vegetable oil in a large bowl with an electric hand mixer set at low speed for 30 sec.
  4. Then, continue mixing for 2 minutes at medium speed.
  5. Place the pan into the oven and bake for the right time depending on your pan size. (use the charts below).
  6. The cake is done when a toothpick is inserted in the center and it comes out clean.
  7. After baking timer, place the cake onto a wire rack for 15 minutes to cool down completely before adding frosting. (if any)

TWO 9″ pans = 23-28 min
13″ x 9″ pan = 23-28 min
BUNDT** pan = 33-36 min
24 CUPCAKES pan = 18-21 min
