Directions
Get 3 small onions, 2 green peppers, 1 lb of steak, 1 fajita seasoning mix bag, and tortillas.
- Chop 2 medium onions into small pieces.
- Slice 3 small onions the long way.
- Slice 2 green peppers the long way.
- Cut into strips the steak.
- Preheat the pan with a lid.
- Add olive oil to the hot pan.
- Add steak and cook until brown.
- Once cooked, remove from pan into a bowl.
- Use the same large pan to cook the green peppers first for 5 minutes or until soft.
- Add the onions to the pan cooking both together for 3-5 minutes.
- Add the cooked steak to the pan
- Add ¼ cup of water and 1 Fajita seasoning mix bag into the pan.
- Stir well until fully covered and the steak is fully cooked.
Directions For Rice
You will need an Instant Pot, rice, olive oil, and salt.
- Bring out your instant pot.
- For every cup of rice, you need a cup of water.
- For this recipe, we will do 3 cups of rice.
- Rinse the rice under cold running water until the water runs semi-clear.
- Add 3 cups of water.
- 3 tsp organic canola oil.
- 1 tsp salt.
- Lock the lid and set the steam valve to its “Sealing” position. Select the “RICE” button (8 min cooking time).
- After the timer, unplug the pot and allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes by just barely turning the value away from sealing with a potholder to protect your hand.
- Fluff rice with a fork and serve.
